| Name: Lifeless Boat
If only blood, sweat and tears could float You could see the remnants of lives that screamed for existence Instead of wrapping your brain around your vivid oppression You could feel the sledgehammer of reality A reality that is forever branded on the life-giving tool of half the population And these tears fall on the deaf ears of doctors following orders We insist on unplugging our brains from the tap of the mainstream And hear the voices of a different narrative A solemn and lonely narrative Where you'll follow the ghost of the man driving himself off a cliff A man drinking himself into a stupor The battered and beaten of a lost nation You've taken the life boat without blood, sweat and tears And we've never asked for anything more than your devotion We've been wasted beyond repair and forgotten amidst our despair This is a ravenous hunger that's rearing it's ugly head with fists and guns ablaze There is no map for the direction of our anger There is no map as we sink on this lifeless boat We scream at the top of our lungs in desperation But the sound is drowned out by the silent tears of the fairer sex
